Description Plastic Carpet Protection Film – 500mm x 100m Carpet Protection Film is the best and simplest way to protect carpet in homes and commercial environments such as office spaces. It provides a tough, durable, waterproof barrier against dirt, damage, and spills. This product is a self-adhering clear polyethylene film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side for temporary carpet protection. It is a non-trip hazard, staying securely in place, and is proven safe for use on carpet even in public thoroughfares. Ideal for protecting carpet during painting, parties, moving, office fit-outs, and remodelling, it can be easily trimmed to size and removes cleanly with no adhesive residue. Press the first 30cm firmly onto the carpet using hand pressure. Unroll the film to the desired length. Use a broom to secure adhesion over larger areas. Lift and cut the roll to finish. Fold a small edge back for easier reuse next time. Important Information: Use and store at room temperature for at least 24 hours before application. Always test a small area first to ensure compatibility. Do not apply over freshly glued carpet – ventilate for 72 hours to allow vapours to dissipate. Do not apply if carpet is damp, or if concrete underneath is not fully cured. Moisture can become trapped and discolour carpet fibres. Not suitable for use on: Marble, tile, vinyl, glass, hardwood, rugs, worn carpets, or loose carpet tiles If accidentally applied to a non-porous surface, remove immediately. Use a tested solvent-based cleaner if residue remains.
